At Retreats & Conferences

For a unique twist on a birthday party, a fun-filled family reunion, church youth group activity, or any other gathering you might have coming up, why not consider some of the fun events we can host for you here at Sky Ranch Rodeo and Livery.  Below are just some of the options - - many can be tailored to suit your exact needs.

Trail Rides A great activity option for our parent/child groups, or guests 8 years and older.  Enjoy a scenic ride through our wooded acreage and across the pastures.  Guests travel at a leisurely pace, accompanied by our experienced and fun wrangler staff.  Our horses are perfectly suited for novice riders, making this a relaxing and enjoyable way to spend part of your day at Sky Ranch!  Trail rides are $13 and we will reserve ride times in advance for groups larger than 16.

Cattle Drives A truly authentic cowboy experience will be offered to our retreat guests 10 and over. Guests saddle up and head out in search of our cattle grazing on the range. Once the herd is located  and gathered into one group, guests  will work together to drive the cattle across hills, creeks, and through woods to secure them in our working pens.  Guests can experience 90 minutes of real cowboy life as they enjoy life from the back of a horse.  We have horses to fit all riding abilities.  Each ride costs $15 per person.  We will book rides in advance for groups greater than 16.

Barn Dance Now these are a blast!  Whether you are a pro boot scooter or have never country danced in your life you will have an unforgettable experience.  Depending on the group size and preference our wrangler staff can teach you to two step, waltz, polka, line dance, and square dance. This event is totally flexible and can be geared to fit any group’s preference.  There is also the option of adding a camp fire with s’mores, horse drawn wagon rides, or dinner for an additional fee upon request.  Cost starts at $8, with a minimum total of $200.  Maximum of 100 guests.

Evening at the Livery This evening will top off every retreat group’s already amazing Sky Ranch experience. The night begins with pasture dodge ball (the best time you can have in a pasture).  Dinner is prepared and served by our wrangler staff.  After everyone is full we will make a fire and roast marshmallows or teach roping lessons depending on each group’s preference. This event can be tailored to fit your group’s needs and desires. Minimum 15 guests, maximum 100.  Cost is $15 per guest and reservations must be made at least four days in advance.
