Week 15 The Walk With Him

Week 15
January 3-9, 2010

+There are more details to come (Philippians 1:6, Psalms 119:105)
*I know that there is more that my Father wants to tell me
*Some things only make sense in context
*This is about the Walk with Him (Micah 6:8)

Lessons Learned

Micah 6:8 - No, O people, the Lord has told you what is good, and this is what he requires of you: to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.

You will notice that it says to walk humbly with your God - not God walking with you.  As this week began I found out that I was still on the waiting list and that I wasn't necessarily first on the list.  That will cause a guy to question if he is on the right track or not.  So, in the middle of asking "why God" I was reminded that He told me to prepare for the WTEC.  He told me what is good and in order for me to walk with Him I needed to humble myself and go where He said to go.  It is kind of like a little kid that gets the chance to go on a "special" trip with his dad but is so worked up about where they are going that he misses the blessing of the trip.  In the end, if I get invited to the WTEC or not, the preparation is still an awesome time to walk with the Father.
